Prime Day is here, and if you’re an Apple enthusiast, it’s time to rejoice! Apple isn’t known for holding sales, which is why taking advantage of discounts through third-party retailers like Amazon is essential. This year’s Prime Day Apple deals include some of our top-rated devices, including MacBooks, AirPods, iPads, and more. We’ve also added a few of our favorite accessories that are on sale. In addition to Apple deals, you can check out our comprehensive Prime Day coverage in our absolute best Amazon Prime Day deals list, as well as stories highlighting deals on our favorite Amazon devices and laptops.

1. MacBook Air with M3 Chip

The latest M3-powered MacBook Air (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is now available at a great discount. While it isn’t vastly different from the M2 version, it still offers impressive features. It comes with a 13.6-inch LCD screen with a 60-Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of max brightness, a notch housing a 1080p webcam, and a variety of ports (two USB 4/Thunderbolt ports, a 3.5-mm headphone jack, and a MagSafe port for charging). The M3 chip, released at the end of last year, provides a nice performance boost compared to the original M1. Plus, you can use it with two external displays simultaneously (lid closed), which is an upgrade from the older chips. This reliable and lightweight laptop is perfect for everyday tasks, and the current deal makes it a steal.

2. MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max

You can snag these Pro models for even steeper discounts on Amazon if you clip the on-page coupon. While M4-powered MacBooks are on the horizon, the MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max, both less than a year old, are still excellent choices. Both sizes feature a bright Mini LED screen, a 120-Hz refresh rate, and a 1080p webcam. They come with a variety of ports including three USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, an SD card slot, a high-impedance headphone jack, and a MagSafe charging port. We recommend the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro for intermediate content creators who want a travel-friendly laptop. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is perfect if you need a large display and excellent battery life.

3. M2-Powered iPad Air

The M2-powered iPad Air (8/10, WIRED Recommends) launched recently in May and is already on sale. Available in 11-inch and 13-inch display options, the latter is our preference. The larger display, with its 2,732 x 2,048-pixel resolution and 600 nits of peak brightness, makes it a fantastic secondary display or a device for watching TV. It features slim bezels, a USB-C port, and Touch ID built into the top power button. The front-facing 12-MP camera is now in landscape orientation, which is a welcome change. The M2 chip ensures smooth performance even with multiple apps running. Despite its larger size, battery life remains consistent, offering about six hours on a busy day.

4. AirPods Max

Apple’s AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommends) are available at the lowest price we’ve seen. These headphones deliver excellent sound quality with a massive soundstage, rich bass, and fantastic noise cancellation. They feature a springy mesh headband and soft fabric earcups, which are replaceable. The volume knob, similar to the one on the Apple Watch, allows for easy volume adjustment. The AirPods Max seamlessly integrate with iOS devices, allowing for quick switching between devices like your iPhone and MacBook without manual Bluetooth settings. Currently, only the Space Gray colorway is at this low price, but other colors are also discounted. Despite rumors of a new version coming later this year with a USB-C port, these AirPods Max remain a great deal.

5. Apple Watch Series 9

The Series 9 (7/10, WIRED Review) is our top choice in the Best Apple Watches guide. While it looks similar to the Series 8, it comes with several upgrades, including faster performance, a brighter display, and improved battery life. It features the Double Tap function, allowing you to play music or hang up calls by simply tapping your index finger and thumb. It will also support WatchOS 11, offering new features like tracking health metrics via the Vitals app and measuring performance improvements with the new Training Load algorithm. Due to a patent dispute, Apple has disabled the blood oxygen sensor on models sold directly through its stores, but this doesn’t apply to purchases through third-party retailers like Amazon.

Don’t miss out on these fantastic Prime Day deals on Apple gadgets. Whether you’re looking for a new MacBook, iPad, AirPods, or Apple Watch, now is the perfect time to buy. Happy shopping!
